Team Member

Annette runs the administrative side of the business and  acts as a virtual receptionist for the clinic. You may interact with her if you call the office number or reach out via email to schedule a new appointment. She is passionate about helping each person or family find the right fit with our therapeutic team so they’re able to get the most out of their counselling experience. 

Annette is originally from America, but likes to say that Canada “chose her” when she became a Canadian citizen in 2019. She’s lived in Canada for over 10 years now with Tyler and their two children. She has a Bachelors Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and has worked in a variety of roles in lifetime such as Youth Program Director at the YMCA in Halifax to Executive Assistant and HR Administrator, as well as Office Manager for a mobile physiotherapy company. 

In her free time, you can find Annette watching “rom coms”, going on a walk or hike with her Labrador retrievers, near water or just being outdoors, ice skating, sipping coffee or tea on the porch, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
